Made in China as you could guess, but seems a pretty solid job; cant go wrong with Carbon Steel.
Weight is definitely there so, just be sure you've got the muscle if you intend to swing it.

The actual blade is great. these brutes would destroy just about any blade that opposes it. This sword is one chunk of heavy metal. Came pretty sharp, has more weight to it than I was expecting. These full tang swords have a sharpened 1065 carbon steel blade. It didn't come very sharp but it took me less than five minutes to fix that. The sword comes dull and is hard to sharpen, but its mass makes the swing good anyway. Bud K remains my favorite knife and sword purchasing site. And the cheap naugahide hilt wrapping slid around madly. This sword isn't worth the price. But with that said, it is a very accurate replica. as for the worse problem. The best thing it has going for it is the price. This was the best first sword that i ever bought and its a beast its heavy and i love the handle on its nice and wrap great.!
