Cleventor Leonard Pilditch lived at 112 Aubrey Street, Small Heath, Birmingham & was one of the original members of the 16th service battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment / 3rd Birmingham pals. William Jamieson first landed in France 10-9-1915 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment / Green Howards and finished his war serving with the 9th service battalion prior to his discharge to the Class Z army reserve at the wars end. Edmund Cliff was born in the village of Bramley near Rotherham, South Yorkshire in 1867 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a boy in 1875. He transferred to the Berkshire Regiment with service number 22675 & was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds
